Does anyone have information on The Honorable Burr Burton, born at Onondaga
Hill, Onondaga County, NY on April 23, 1804? He was assassinated in his home
on May 4, 1965. I do not know anything more about this. On Oct. 29, 1829 he
married Laura M., daughter of James S. Brown and Fanny Parkhurst, natives of
Vermont. He had many children: Olive Louisa (married Prof. T.H. Hinton, of
Syracuse), Wilmot Earll, Frances Amelia (who married my g-grandfather J. H.
Childs), Lebbeus D. Helen Augusta (married B. C. Frost of Oswego) and Alfred
Myros.
