David Sturges was born in 1823 in Saratoga, New York. I believe his father
to be Aaron B. Sturges and his mother to be Eliza Ogle. These two people
were married in Wyoming county in 1822 and had a son David born in 1823.
David (Saratoga) named his first son Aaron James. He also named a son
Stiles. I find a Aaron Burr Sturges listed in the 1810 Census married to a
Hannah Morehouse living in Saratoga about the time of of David's birth but do
not find David's name listed in the list of their children. I suspect that
Aaron Sturges had a brother named Stiles but have no conclusive proof.
I would appreciate any help or contact with any one including descendents of
the Sturges lineage to help me resolve this problem. Thank you in advance.
