I have recently started the onerous task of digging into the family =
history/tree and have come to a point where I need additional outside =
"information" as opposed to strictly family information. John HARTLE, =
Christian HARTLE and John HARTLE were all involved in the American =
Revolution but who returned to Canada (Halifax ~1783) and then on to =
Lower Canada (Cornwall) where they settled. Is there literature or some =
other type of resource out there which would detail lists of UELs and/or =
tell some of the history involved in their return to Canada?
Any information you have in this matter is appreciated.
