DEATH: TIMES UNION & KNICKERBOCKER NEWS, ALBANY, NY 2/16/42 Herbert E. Earl -
107 Darthmouth Street, a former pianist with the
old Strand theatre orchestra, and in recent years a piano tuner by occupation,
died yesterday at his home after a brief
illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 9:15 am tomorrow at his home
and at 10:am at St. James Church. Burial will
be in St. Agnes' cemetery. He is survived by his wife, the former Helen
Clancy; two sons, Herbert A. and Robert Earl of
Albany; his father, Joseph Earl of Rensselaer, and two sisters, Mrs. Henry
Dreis of Albany and Mrs. L. J. Moxin of Rensselear.
Herbert married (1) UNKNOWN in Unknown.
They had the following children:

Herbert also married (2) Helen Louise CLANCY, daughter of George CLANCY and
Ellen (Nellie) QUALTER on 25 Nov 1931 in St.
Patrick, Albany, NY. Helen was born 11 Sep 1891 in Albany, NY. She died 19 May
1979 in Albany, NY.

(my father)
Information on Joseph EARL ( my Grandfather) I know nothing at all on him,
except that he might have been born and lived in Rens. NY.
Information on Herbert A. (E) Earl's wife(s).
Also if someone has access to the cross directory and would check for any
information on John H. Earl and Mark S. Earl. (last known address etc.)
I recentely found out that I have two nephews. Only through the kind
assistance of a person in Albany who sent to me the Obits. I never knew also
my grandfathers name or any other information. Thanks.
