I am in an unusual situtation. While searching for information on family
names, for my wife's CHHIRIELEISON, my Son-in laws GOLDEN, and my EARL, I
have had some moderate success with GOLDEN in obtaining information with all
the lines going back the the late 1500's. With my wife's line, fack to
Sicily in 1799. With my line EARL, zilch, zero, nothing. It is getting very
frustrating. If it wasn't for the kind assistance of Bill Webster of
Albany, I would not have known that I had nephews. I would not have known
that up till 1962, my grandfather was still alive when my step brother died.
As you can see, there was a little discord in the EARL family. My mother,
till the day she died, never mentioned anyone on my fathers side. I really
never gave it much thought until I became interested in Genealogy. Now it
seems that every one has gone to their last reward. Things like this should
not happen, but I guess they do in all families. Now I am seeking again some
assistance. Please. I have the following information but going to the LDS
has not been of any help. I am hoping that by subscribing to this servive, I
might get some help.

John H. EARL last know address was in Troy, NY on 6th St/Ave. 1800 block. I
understand that this might be a social service help center. John was born in
1943 in Albany area to my step brother Herbert A.(E) EARL

Mark S. EARL - I have no information on him at all. I got his name because
the cemetery where my brother (Herbert A. (E.) Earl is buried, told me that he
paid for the burial. They had no address for him.
Leaving a small balance. This was in 1961. 6 Jan 1961, St. Agnes Cemetery,
Menands, NY. The bill was only for 36.00, and I sent them a check for that
amount.
>From the death notice in the Times Union, I found out that my Grandfather was
alive when my brother died. His name was Joseph EARL. I beleive, and it is
only a guess that he lived in Reneslear, NY. For some reason that I can't
explain this came into my head. Since my father Herbert E. EARL died 16 Feb
1942 at the age of 52, putting his birth at approx 29 Dec 1888. Again only
spectulation on the year of birth. His father Joseph must have been born
about 1865-70. I know that he (Joseph Earl) had other childrem (from the death
notice)
Harriett EARL Dries and L. EARL Moxin (female).

Since I was 8 at the time of my fathers death, you can see that I am getting
up in age. But I would like to reunite this family before many more years go
by. Any assistance anyone can give would be appreciated.

Bill Webster of 46 Gail ave. 12205 was a big help. But I have sent Email to
him and it has bounced. I am hoping that he is one this service. (Bill, if
you are reading this, please cash that small check I sent to you. I reviewed
my checking account and it is still outstanding)
