GEN-NYS-L: To: All Members

Would like to share my opinion of ALL answers appearing on general board. My
policy has been to send private EMAIL to individuals asking for help when I
thought I could be of help. I didn't think anyone searchng JONES would be
interested in SMITH information...I certainly would NOT care to download
answers to everyone else's ancestry..........And if this becomes the case and
no INDEX mode is established on this board then I would have to cancel
subscription. I do use an OLR, but not willing to d/l hundreds of messages
which do not concern me..

I've enjoyed reading queries, live in NYS; have a couple of source books on
Allegany Co. in NYS, 1790 census, Ontario Co. census.....but please don't
expect my answers to queries to appear for ALL of you to download. I will
respond only to the individual asking the question.....

Does anyone else feel as I do?
