Ozzi> Can anyone tell me if it's possible to access a file stored
Ozzi> on Compuserve and then send it on to me?
Generally, no. Compu$erve wants you to subscribe in order to get
access to their goodies. People are realizing that the internet is
much, much larger and has many, many more users than any individual
on-line provider (like AOL, Compuserve, Prodigy) does. So frequently
you can find much of the same information "out here".
If you know the file name or what the contents is, you can use a
search engine like http://altavista.digital.com to search the internet
for it. The last time I checked, altavista has indexed over
***Twenty-One Million*** web pages! The best thing is it is free.
Alternatively, you can try something like Yahoo (http://www.yahoo.com)
which is organized more like a library with various categories.
