I am trying to get information about the following members of the LEHMANN
Family Lehmann (male) who was apparently burgermeister (mayor) of Halle (an
die Salle) in Germany, probably the mid 1800's.The only known son was
JULIUS (possibly Jules ) LEHMANN born 1843 in Germany died 1897 in
the usa (NYC area ) he was married to ELIZABETH SCHLAEFER ( 1847 - 1917 )
and had the following 13 children:
JULIUS LEHMANN, born 1871
LAURETTA LEHMANN,born 1876 in Germany and married Mr.________ Beck
CAROLINE ( aka LENA) LEHMANN, born 1878
ARTHUR LINCOLN LEHMANN (Original birth certificate reads Adolf and legally
changed) born 22 Sep 1882 in New York City, N Y, died Nov 1958 in Baldwin N
Y and Buried in The Evergreens Cemetary, Brooklyn NY. He married May
Stewart Macnair on 16 Dec 1908. She died in 1918 and he married Louise M. (
born Louisa Margaretha Adelheid ) Heineke after 1920.
WILLIAM LEHMANN, 5 more boys and 3 more girls all dead BY 1920
