Hi Everyone- Sue was right- this mailing list has been real slow! I know
myself there are times where I don't want to post something for fear of being
flamed for wasting someones time reading irrelevant mail-which has happened
before! So I will be one of the first to start-
The past 2 weeks have been good for me in the "finding" dept. During a chat
session on AOL I found someone who is quite knowledgeable of NYC and they
faxed me a portion of a directory linking me to one of the surnames that has
been the hardest (so far) to connect anything with. I even found out that
the address # I was reading as 2574 is 2579. No it was not the exact same
person I was looking for but it is a start! At the LDS on Thurs. I also came
up w/ census info from Soundex on other family members. These ones I already
knew about but it did give me some insite into b. and d. dates for the
husband and wife which I did not have! So I ordered the films for that e.d.
and am now back to patiently waiting! Hope all of you are also doing as
well!
