GEN-NYS-L: Early Dutchess County Tax List

This coming Friday, I will be passing through Dutchess Co. and may be
able to do it early enough to do some research. But all I have for the
Dutchess Co. Hist. Soc. is a P.O. Box #. Also, what I want to see are
the tax lists for Crum Elbow, Charlotte, and Washington Pct. from the
earliest settlement (c 1739) to about 1775 and I have a list of books
housed at the Dutch. Co. Hist. Soc. that does not include even the one
tax list I know exists (Clifford Buck: 1718-1787) elsewhere (NEHGS per
someone I was in contact with awhile back).

So... Can anyone suggest a place I could visit on short notice on Fri
afternoon, May 24 that might have the tax list? Is there a geneal soc
or maybe an LDS Center?

Just in case anyone has access to these lists and I'm not able to do my
own search: I'm looking for PALMER, esp. Samuel and Peter, during
1739-1775 or so.

Thanks in advance,
Joy
