Couldn't find any Fayette county in NY in French's Gazetteer. La Fayette is
in Onandaga Co. S. of Syracuse along Int 81. One early settler was John
Wilcox who was in Linn (SE part of LaFayette) in 1791 , Comfort Rounds and Wm
Haskens in 1792; and Solomon Owens and James Sherman in 1793 . Any relatives?
