Hello... My COOK family is from Massachusetts. I want to identify
the father of Moses COOK. "Everyone" says it appears that Francis is
my best choice but his will lists only his wife and daughter Elizabeth
so that is nothing promising? Nothing in New York for COOK.
For a Mayflower ancestor I need to go through FULLER (Orange Co NY)
whose wife was Mary/Molly GODFREY, then back through GODFREY to COOK
and finally I'll reach Stephen and Giles HOPKINS.
The nice part of the COOK line is that Moses' father does not stop my
march backward since Moses' wife is my link. However, I would like
to learn more about Moses COOK's roots. I am sure I (or someone) will
get the record I'm looking for one of these days.
I probably should subscribe to a New England list. Can anyone give me
the address to subscribe to a N E discussion group?
