I'm looking for some general information on Seventh Day Baptists and
migration patterns. I've found that my ancestors were members of the Seventh
Day Baptist church in Berlin, NY - I suspect they moved into the area from
Hopkinton, Rhode Island in about the 1760/70s. Before that Britain.
Was there a religious (Baptist) migration wave from the British Isles similar
to the Puritan and Quaker migrations? Or was the Seventh Day Baptist group
formed in Rhode Island?
Would appreciate any sources or good books where I might learn more about
this area. Thanks for any assistance at all.
