I am looking for information about the ancestry of Abigail PEARSALL. She
was born 10 Oct 1750, probably in Dutchess County, NY. She married
Jeremiah HART (earlier of Little Compton, RI) about 1768
in Dutchess County. They had 8 children: Stephen, John, Reuben,
Phoebe, Jeremiah, Philip, Sarah, and Hannah. The first 3 or 4 children
were born in Hart's Village, Dutchess County, NY. The last 4 were born
in Stillwater, Saratoga County, NY. Abigail PEARSALL HART died 3 Feb
1826 in Stillwater and is buried there.
I know that there were other PEARSALLs in Dutchess county during this
time period, but so far I have been unable to determine the parents of
my Abigail. Is anyone else out there researching this family? I would
so appreciate any help that you might offer!
