Eleazer Lewis and Sally Stanton Rood and their families

Eleazer Lewis was born 31 Jan 1772 in Hopkintown, RI to
Eleazer and Thankful (Lewis) Lewis. He died May 15, 1853 in
Canastota, NY. On Feb 11, 1795, he married
Sally Stanton Rood in CT. She was born June 13, 1775 in
CT and died in July 1850 in Canastota. They had 10 kids,
including William (Third ch), and Calvin (6th ch). I suspect that they
also
had sons named Seth and Hiram but would like a complete list of Eleazers
children. and parents for Sally.

According to histories of Allegan Co, Calvin came to
MI with his brother in Law, Benjamin Tryon. After brother
William arrived circa 1850, Benjamin returned "EAST". I suspect that this
is the
Benjamin Tryon who witnessed the marraige of Lyman Chaffee and
Adelia Ann Tryon in Hillsdale Co. MI in 1844.

A George Lewis seems to be traveling with the
Chaffee family. He is in Reading TWP of Hillsdale Co,
5 houses away from Warner Chaffee. (Note: Warner
and Otis Chaffee seemed to be swapping land in Hillsdale
Co, MI. Warner is listing in County Histories as owning
land in Moscow and censused in 1840 in Reading, while
the exact opposite is true of Otis.)
On the next page over (page 34) there is a Benjamin
Lewis, age 40-50. As George is 30-40 at that census, it
is concievable that they are brothers. Are they connected to Eleazer
and Sally (Rood) Lewis?
