I need help with finding info on my g-grandfather, Jehiel LLOYD. According
to his Civil War enlistment papers he was born in Oneida Co ca 1822 and his
father's name was William. He married Mary Elizabeth DURLING, dau of John
DURLING and Sarah SMITH, in Jan of 1850 in Seneca Falls NY.

Sometime before 1856 they moved to MI (living in Lenawee, Washtenaw and
Jackson Co.) He died in 1902.

There are lots of Lloyds in Oneida Co, but I haven't been able to identify
one with a Jehiel in it. I have also collected quite a bit of info on
several MI Lloyd families to see if there was a connection. So far I have
drawn a blank.
