Directories. A friend of mine found a Polk Business Directory in her
library, but not city ones >>
The Patchogue-Medford Public Library has New York City and Brooklyn city
directories from about 1861 to about 1913.
The LDS Family History Center in Plainview has several NYC directories in the
1850's.
