Re Free Methodist Church differences- years ago churches were in the habit of
charging a pew tax for families. A group thought this was detrimental to the
Lord's work and split off and started Free Methodist Church ( no pew tax).
They adhere to the Methodist doctrines in all else. They had a conference in
NY and in Penn. I went to the Free Methodist Church on 16th st in Brooklyn Ny
my grandfather L.D. Wallace was a pastor for the Free Methodists.
