CIG maillist here in California several months ago, and somehow it's gotten
onto an AOL bulletin board, I guess!! Anyway, the maps are available from
the Niagara County Genealogical Society, which has no webpage yet. If you
can, you might as well modify the posting to include this:
The Niagara County 1860 map breakdown is:
1. Youngstown
2. Middleport
3. Lockport
4. Charlotte (now Newfane), and Olcott
5. Pendleton and Martinsville
6. Royalton Center, Reynales Basin and Orangeport-Gasport
7. Lewiston
8. Wilson
9. Niagara Falls, Suspension Bridge and Clifton, Ontario
10. North Tonawanda and New Bergholtz
11. Pekin and Ransomville
12. Somerset, Rapids and Johnson Creek
Maps are approx. 17-1/2" x 23" and printed on heavy 70# cream paper, and
shipped rolled in a tube. They are $3.25 each, or $32.50 for the set of 12.
