Jim-

Thanks for the information...It just happens one of Thomas
Sargent's(my gggg) son, John went to live with his wife
Isabelle Jacox to Butternuts, Otsego co. John was twin brother
to my ggg grandfather, James Sargent who migrated to WI(where I
now live to this day).
I am having a very , very hard time connecting any information
to this family, researcher's and all !! That is why I was
wondering if perhaps they were part of this Friends of Society
"The Quakers" since they sort of kept to their own I think. It
may be (without my knowledge) there may have been some central
Quaker burial site or possibly a family farm where many of the
family were buried. I found out this information when someone
from the net did a lookup on Sarah Sisson Deforest from
Dutchess Co. He told me Sarah and her family were Quaker's.and
her parent's were buried in big Quaker burial site there,
but many of their children went to live in Otsego. Now if she
was the same Sarah(which I strongly think it is) They may have
all been Quaker's until James broke off NY ties and came to WI

I have a LDS near me and I use it all the time... I will look
up any indexes about Quaker's in NY that they may have. I did
find some Reverend's in the data!! I never ever dreamed
to go this route!! This just may be the break I need!! Thanks
very much, it all seems to
start making sense to me!!

Best of Luck to you!!
