Peru, NY is in Clinton County, the northeast county of NYS. Peru is in
the southern portion next to Essex County. Soules were in both these
counties. The Methodist Church in the hamlet of Essex, Town of Essex,
Essex County has a stained glass window named in honor of a Soule family
member.
