My Great Grandfather William James Wright came to The US from Bermuda
in 1822 at the age of seven Years. He was born in Bermuda to Henry
and Elizabeth Dickinson Wright and had a brother Joell born in 1817.
William James married Wealtha Mead probably in or near Kinderhook N.Y.
since Wealtha's parents Gilbert and Mary died in Kinderhook from
information I received in a letter to my Aunt. William and Wealtha
had a total of 13 children with 3 or 4 born in New York state.
Francis I. was born in 1837, Silas in 1839, William Henry in 1841 and
Mary in 1845. Mary may have been born in Alexandria, Licking, Ohio
since my great grandparents went there from New York State sometime
in the 1840's. If you have any information relating to any of the
above, would like to hear from you and possibly add to your research.
