While I agree with David that many frauds have been associated with Anneke
Jans' estate, I want to point out that there really were valid legal disputes
over the title to her estate. These were fought many times in the courts
over centuries, and the heirs always lost. Had the first trial been
conducted in today's legal environment, the heirs may very well have won -
Trinity Church having lost most of its power since the 16/1700's.
