I apologize for the multiple duplications you may receive if you are on
numerous lists, but at the present I understand there is no other way to
get this message out to all.
First off many thanks to all those who sent me get well cards from my
surgery last week. Still can't walk too well, but that gives me more time
to type data into the site for you guys....right? <grin>
As to the 1895 Atlas project, I have now completed 21 states, the newest
being Kentucky & Virginia. These are the original index recordings from
this 100 + year old atlas and shows the town name, the county it was in,
the population (if any). It also shows where the town was within a state's
borders and whether or not the town had a post office, a railroad, or an
express office.
I am now back to working on the atlas and am currently working on Ohio,
with NY coming up next.
I took a breather and uploaded the 7,000 name cemetery index recently co
mpiled by Kernie L. King from the 3 volumes of transcriptions done by the
DAR in the late 1940's in Livingston County MI.
I am not at all pleased with the format of transferring a word document
into HTML, but the raw data is there and I have already redone "A" into
table format which I think is much easier to read. When the Atlas project
is complete I will go back to this index and redo the rest of the letters.
As always, remember to do your hug homework if any of this has helped you.
This is especially important to me this day as yesterday I lost to cancer
and Alzheimer's one of my favorite uncles who is now at rest with the Lord.

As always, the cost for this information is for you to go out and give
someone a hug right now, whether they feel they need it or not because time
is so fleeting, they may not be there next time you have the urge.
