Im looking for information on a Freda Chichester, Morgan Chichester, or
Herbert Chichester .
I'm having a hard time locating information for these 2 people because I
was told that Freda changed her last name to Bishop. We're not sure if she
did it legally or just took it upon herself to change it. She married a
Robert Kugler around 1920 and they lived, I believe, around the Hudson River
area. She had twin sons, one which died at 6 months. Robert Herbert Kugler
was the survivor. He was born in 1924. About 6 months later Freda died
also. With her passing, most information about her family was lost.
We do know that she had a brother named Herbert Chichester. He was married
to an Annabelle Thompson, we have no dates of this marriage but probably
around 1920 also.
Morgan Chichester was the father of Freda and Herbert. He was born in the
1880's. He married a woman named Carey but I dont know the maiden name. I
was told that there were so many Chichesters living in one area that they
named the area after them. (Hence the name Chichester :P ).
Anyway, thanks for reading this long letter. Im sorry there arent any
specific dates but much of this is a mystery to all of us and even some
documents. Any information on any of the names mentioned above would be
welcomed. Or any suggestions to what to do would be appreciated also, Thanks
