You might check the DAILY name as DALY or DALEY. Fewer than 5% spell the
name DAILY, while over 90% use DALY and about 5% use DALEY.

You might also check Traverse City MI. Many Irish first went to Traverse
City MI to make their fortunes in the timber industry before finally
settling in New York State. I know my mother's BRADY family moved from
Albany NY to Traverse City MI and then finally settled in Buffalo NY in the
1880s. They kept connections in both states during the entire transition
period.
