The Lathrop family, at least the one that I'm related to, is descended
from Rev. John Lothropp and his two wives, Hannah House and Ann Hammond.
The Rev. and his congregation formed Barnstable, MA in Cape Cod. If you
can locate a book or a Web Site on Barnstable you are almost guaranteed
to find at least a little information on the Lothrop / Lathrop family.
