Looking for the index number for a marriage that took place in NYC probably
Westchester on 24 Dec 1851 between John Morris and Mary Ann Winham. I wrote
to the Municipal Archives with a check for twelve dollars with the
information and they returned it with a note. ""Due to the tremendous
increase in search requests and staff cutbacks, we can no longer undertake
searches in records that are not indexed, even when the date is provided." I
sent to albany and they simply referred me back to NY Archives.
