I hope someone out there can help me. I recently came across the following:
"Two executions took place on Friday last, KNICKERBOCKER, at Buffalo, for the
murderof Harkner, and Lawrence Reiley, at Brooklin, for the murder ofh is wife
and motehr-in-law."
I am wanting to find out the first name of the KNICKERBOCKER as my ancestors
were in Ulster County at the same time as this man. This was printed February
7, 1852.
Where can I look to find out why he murdered Mr. Harkner?
