Hi!

I don't know an answer to your question, but remember that sometimes the
parish records from that long ago have either disappeared, been damaged,
are stored in some out of the way spot in the building, etc. Also the
books may be written in a different language or old scribe. The
current minister can also be very, very busy just trying to meet the
everyday needs of his/her parish members.

Since you say you have written to several churches and have had no
replies, maybe you are not approaching them in a way that will motivate
them to respond. Are you including a SASE, being clear and short with
your request, including a small fee to compensate them for their time?

You might also try the LDS library. They have microfilmed many church
records.
