I'm researching the Pardy line in Plattsburgh NY. The Pardee Genealogy by
Donald Jacobus says JOHN PARDY was b. in Plattsburgh in 1829, d. in
Plattsburgh 1870, m. in Plattsburgh in 1850 to Phebe HAVENS, and that he was
the son of FRANCIS PARDY and MARY DOMINY.
I'm looking for documentation of the birth of John to Francis and Mary, but
there is no birth or marriage record for John. Jacobus referred to Probate
records for John, but the Surrogate's Office said they have no records for
John or Francis.
Does anyone have any info about John and/or his wife Phoebe Havens?
Would be glad to share my Pardy and Dominy info.
