How did Aunt Hettie get the crypt?

Warren Miller (d. NYCity Oct.1888) bought a crypt for himself, wife and
son. Warren is there, but no wife and son. Aunt Hettie and cousin Pierre
are. The WILL (filed NYCity) gave everything to wife Matty. Something must
have happened in PROBATE. Am now looking for the PROBATE FILE.

Any information about retrieving Probate Files from NYC would be helpful.
