PLEASE NOTE: this book covers Patriot/Rebel troops only. Continental Line,
Levies, and militia rolls are included. NOT included: anything on NY
Loyalist troops :-( There *is* a 2 volume work by Phillip
Ranlet(ca.1860)that provides some biographical data on known Loyalists.
Some entries(Guy Johnson, Walter Butler)are lengthy;others (Daniel Claus,
Isaac Ketcham)are remarkably brief. Anyway, try tracking this work down.
Also note that the Olive Tree (http://www.rootsweb.com/~ote/)has some rolls
for Butler's Rangers, the King's Royal Regt. of NY(Johnson's Greens),the
New Jersey Volunteers, and a list of Tryon Co. Loyalists taken prisoner.
For an overwhelming amount of info on the NJ Volunteers, look here:

For a detailed history of Butler's Rangers, and an officer/NCO roll:

For Tryon Co. Militia rolls, turn here:

Thanks for everyone's interest!
