After another round with the wonderful state of PA...I found that only an
index list of my great grandfather's death is there! No info on cause of
death or anything...except he died. He was born in 1873...dab smack in the
middle of the 1870 and 1880 Census. He states on the 1900 Census that he
was born in New York...but the spelling of the name on the death index is
way different (same soundex) as the name from the Family Bible.
His name was Fletcher L. Jacockes (listed on death index as Jacoks) He
was buried in Kane PA. He was there in 1900, but not 1800.
Soundex code J220. Any help or leads would be very much appreciated.
