Several sources have suggested using the records of the Holland Land
Company in Batavia, Genesee Co, New York for genealogical research. The
company was a major seller of land in the Genesee area in the early to
mid 1800s and the records have been microfilmed by the LDS so are easily
accessible. Does anyone know what type of information the records
contain? Is there more than the names of individuals plus when and where
they bought land?
