Evans & Welsh settlements

Where in New York state would there be towns rich with Welsh settlers in the
1800s?

I'm looking for Owen Evans and his parents James Evans and Barbary
Rosenberry. James was born in Wales, Barbary in Montgomery Co PA, and Owen in
NY (1828). By 1850 Owen was in Stark Co OH.

I haven't discounted the possibility that they may have been Quaker, but that
is not for sure.

What are the most likely places in New York state to find Welsh immigrants?
