June 14th Dedication, Grave marker for veteran of Valley Forge

My g-g-g-grandfather William Edmunds, Pvt. in the Rhode Island Line,
under Col. Olney's
Regiment. He was in from the fall of 1775 until 1783.
He was in the battles of Long Island, Rhode Island, Trenton, Princeton,
Kingsbridge, Springfield, Monmouth sand many skirmishes. At the Battrle
of Monmouth he received two bayonet wounds. He served at VALLEY FORGE.

The grave was unmarked for years.

On June 14th, at 11:00 AM there will be a dedication of the new stone.
The local American Legion will provide the proper service. All are
welcome, especially any DAR, SAR or any decendents of William
Edmunds(Edmonds). The Hurley Cemetery is located in the Town of Keene,
