One of their older children was ANDREW MOORE, born April 9, 1839 in
Rockbridge County, and married September 18, 1860 to POLLY KNICK (NICK) by
"the Rev. Richardson." Information on the NICK's and the HOSTETTERs would
also be appreciated. POLLY NICK was about age 29 at the time of marriage.
JAMES MADISON MOORE, his wife and most of their children, and ANDREW MOORE
and his new wife POLLY, migrated from Rockbridge County, VA to Rush County,
Indiana late in 1860 or early 1861. ANDREW and POLLY's first child,
ELIZABETH K. MOORE, was born in Indiana June 26, 1861.
