Hi-I couldn't find anything on your Benjamin Moore. In the 1870 Barry Co,
MO census I have a Archibald Moore age 47 born in IL wife Jane 45, MO
James Burris 13, MO; Nancy Burris, 16, MO; Martha Burris, 14, MO Melvin
Moore age 9, TX and Amos Moore age 5 born TX. (dwelling number 43) I
don't have a copy of the whole census just a few transcribed pages. I
have a note from a cousin that there are several Moores in Barry Co from
VA and from IL but no specifics (at the time we didn't think they were
part of our group) but now I am not so sure. Good luck with your search.
