I have to agree with Mike regarding submitting one's work to the LDS
library for future genealogists, but I would like to also add that
besides the LDS collection, I highly recommend sending a copy of your
work to the genealogy society that would be local to the area you have
researched. I have "fallen" into previous generations' work, and I have
thanked those who were foresighted and generous enough to think of those
who would come after them. I can only hope they heard my prayers of
thanks. When leaving an area, I like to leave a copy of my work for
future genealogists in hopes my findings might help them.
