I'm the LINES-L mailing list owner and have recently received
notification that you have subscribed to the LINES-L mailing list.  

It has been my experience that since you are subscribing from AOL.COM
that you may not realize just what you have joined.

The LINES-L mailing list is to support people using Tom Wetmore's
UNIX-based LifeLines genealogy program.  

If you are using a Microsoft operating system, you will not be able to
run LifeLines.

This is not a general purpose genealogy mailing list.  There are a
number of mailing lists on the internet and a fair number of them are
genealogy related.

The two best places to find other genealogy related lists is Vicki
Lindsay's web page:
