I'm patiently waiting for an answer on this family. Who were John N.
Moore's parents? He was born 16 Oct., 1846 neat Dover, Stewart County
Tennessee.
At age 16 he joined the Union army and fought thru the Civil War, was
captured twice and escaped twice. He was honorably discharged at St.
Paul Minnesota, 2-25-1866.
He returned to Dover and married where his 1st wife (name unknown)
died within 1 year as did their baby. In 1868 he married Jane
Anderson Francis or Jane Anderson Francis Campbell of Trigg Cty
Kentucky at Big Rock or Big Bend Tenn. In 1874, they moved to Dexter,
Stoddard County, Missouri.
They had six children:
