My 3gr-grandfather was born in South Carolina but lived in Georgia, Alabama
and possibly Arkansas. Half of my relatives that I have interviewed say his
name is FRANK MOORE and the other half say his name was ASA MOORE and that
he was in the Civil War. I am unable to find any record of him as yet. He
was married but his wife's name is unknown. Here is a list of his children:
1. EMMA MOORE
2. MARTHA MOORE
3. LOVE MOORE possibly Lou Moore.
4. GEORGE WASHINGTON MOORE born abt Oct/Nov, 1859/1861 in
Rome, Floyd County, GA. Married 1st Savannah ___?. possibly
in Arkansas. Married 2nd to Fanny Elizabeth REYNOLDS in
Johnson Co, Arkansas.
5. AMANDA SILVENUS MOORE aka "VENUS". born 1863. married
Pink BLAKLEY. died in Johnson Co, Arkansas.
6. FRANK REDFORD MOORE born 1866 in Alabama. married
Ora MARTIN. died in Johnson Co, Arkansas.
7. TOM MOORE died 1929 in Johnson Co, Arkansas.
8. SOLOMON JASPER MOORE aka "JEPP" married Eliza Elizabeth
GRIFFIN.
If anyone is working on this line of Moore's I would appreciate your help.
I will be happy to share what I have on the Moore's with anyone who is
interested.
