Would appreciate any help in researching or information regarding
Alexander Moore of Nansemond Co. Virginia, the father of William C.
Moore who married Florence Ligon of Clarkesville Virginia, in Durham
N.C. August 1908. Alexander Moore was an officer in the Civil War, but
during the battle of Nansemond County, the records were destroyed.
