I am searching for the family ties of John Moore, Commodore of the British
Navy about 1750-1770. I believe that he was over the British ships which
won the West Indies for Britain. I can not find much on him. I believe
that his father may have been over the Port of Philadelphia. Does any
one know anything about this family?
