Richard Edward Moore, b. August 31, 1886 in Nashville, Davidson Co., Tn.
Parents were Richard Oliver Moore and Mary McDonnell.
It is believed that he may have had a sister Mary and a brother John -- I
have not been able to verify this information. I don't have any information
on his parent's other than their names and that possibly Richard Oliver Moore
may have served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War.
Richard Edward Moore is supposed to have left Tn. c. 1900 at the age of 14
and was sent to live with relatives in Atlanta, Ga. He latter moved to
Delaware and then relocated to Philadelphia, Pa. where he married Elizabeth
Elanore Freidle c. 1916,17. He remained in Philadelphia the rest of his life.
He died June 6, 1943 at the age of 56. He had two sons, Richard Edward, Jr.
b. October 17, 1918 and William, b. August 31, 1920.
