I haven't fallen off the face of the earth but darn nearly! I have been
totally emersed in trying to pull off the financing for this condo which
goes into complete forclosure on Friday. Jennifer really wants to have it
and I would rather give her the $8,000 equity than lose it to the bank.
I am sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear from the mortgage company
as to whether they will accept the loan. It is rather bazaar, so it is hard
to guess whether they will or not. I have had a million road blocks to get
this far and have been having to spend an inordinate amount of time going
through records and compiling information. In the meantime, I have been
trying to keep my real estate business going, but it is not going fast
enough yet. I wrote a purchase agreement tonight for $375,000 so that will
help, but I need at least one more like that in the next 10 days to feel
like I can relax a bit. I won't know if I will be coming to California or
not until this weekend. I hope it works out and I think it will, but it
just depends.
Now back to the diet. Have you tried egg beaters? I have made an omlet out
of egg beaters and cottage cheese and put my own homemade hot sauce on it.
It is delicious. I make hot sauce out of Jalapeno peppers, fresh tomatoes,
onions, cilantro and lots of garlic. I can put it on meat and stuff and it
has very few calories. There are also baked tortilla chips which have fewer
calories you can have with this hot sauce.
I keep experimenting and will really try to put together two weeks of menus
for us to try and a grocery list and recipes next week after I have this
financing mess out of the way.
I will let you know as soon as I have firm plans for San Francisco. How
much are rooms at the hotel you stay at and what is fun to do in San
Francisco now?
I talked with Phil about Aunt Peggy. She didn't tell me she lost her cool
with her, but I wouldn't think she was normal if she didn't once in awhile.
She is really a trial. You don't see me calling her every week. I don't
have the patience the rest of you do. I suggested to Phil if you try to
move her to Marilyns, you tell her she has to go there just temporarily
until a place opens up in Fresno then see how she likes it. I don't think I
will come to Fresno to help you pull it off if you don't mind!!!
You two qualify for sainthood!
I will be off the line for now. Give my love to Anne and hope we can see
you in March. I was facinated with your geneology history you put on the
roundtable. That is fabulous and I am anxious to hear what kind of response
you get. We probably have all kinds of relatives we don't know about with
those huge families.
