While doing some searching the other day, I came across a book published in
1903. It may be helpful to some whose lines go back into the 1600 in CT.

Andrew Moore of Poquonock and Windsor, CT and His Descendants by Hon. Horace
L. Moore, printed in Lawrence, Kansas in 1903.

The author indicated that he placed copies of the book with several research
places: Kansas State Historical Society; Yale University; Ct. Historical
Society; New England Historical/Genealogical Society in Boston - those are
all I can recall. He also said that the 'papers' were to be placed with the
Kansas State Historical Society.
The copy which I saw was actually a photo copy which was sent to the Windsor,
CT Historical Society in 1991 by a Norwood Moore.

The work follows many lines out from Andrew Moore of Windsor and his wife
Sara Phelps - m. 1671. Andrew and Sara lived in Simsbury, CT.

I'm afraid that I cannot offer to do look-ups in this book, as each would
mean a trip to the Society - which would get a little time consuming. I
would suggest that someone who feels that this book should be in their
library, contact the NE Historical/Genealogy of Boston and ask about the cost
of a photo copy. OR, look up Norwood on a CD phone search and contact
him.............If one of us actually 'owned' a copy then lookups would not
be a problem. I have no interest in owning it - I am not of any early NE
line.
