| DeBAIE, Bessie Viola - 88, DeBaie Cove, Halifax County, died November 26, 1992, in Twin Oaks Hospital, Musquodoboit Harbour. Born in Bass River, Colchester County, she was a daughter of the late Wellington and Melinda (Durning) McLaughlin. She is survived by seven sons, David, Arnold, Norman, Derel, Peter, all of DeBaie Cove; Herbert, Dartmouth; Ronald, Pondville, Cape Breton; four daughters, Olive Martin, DeBaie Cove; Frances Melanson, Beulah Damore, both of Windsor, Ont.; Carol Young, Musquodoboit Harbour; 32 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Clarence; three daughters, Helen, Lita, Patsy; two sons in infancy. The body is in Rowlings Funeral Home, Musquodoboit Harbour, visiting 24, 7-9 p.m. today and 4-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday in St. Philip's of Neri Church, Musquodoboit Harbour, Rev. McLean officiating. Burial will be in St. Anne's Cemetery, DeBaie Cove. Donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, Twin Oaks Hospital or any charity. | |
