| DeBAIE, Jenny Dorothy - 72, DeBaies Cove, Halifax Co., died November 25, 1999, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born October 8, 1927, in Dartmouth, she was a daughter of the late John and Agnes (Rae) Barker. She was a very caring person, helping in the community with the ill and aged. She was a loving and devoted mother to her children and grandchildren. She worked at Moirs and as a home care worker at several guest homes. She is survived by her sons, Fred and wife Linda, Dartmouth; Robert and wife Barbara, Dartmouth; daughters, Sheila (Mrs. Charles Dawson), Halifax; daughter, Sherry (Mrs. Albert Sommers), Lawrencetown; Corrine, Dartmouth; son-in-law, Douglas Wolfe, Westville, Pictou Co.; grandchildren, Timmy, Nicki, Claudette, Sarah, Justin, Krista, Bruce, Kelly; great-granddaughter, Emma; step-great-grandchildren, Joseph, Ashley, Alyssa, Megan, Victoria; sisters, Molly Butts, Kathleen Graham, both of Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Fred; daughter, Betty Wolfe; grandaughter, Leslie Olive; brothers, Maurice and Buzz. Visitation 6-9 p.m. today, 2-4 p.m. Sunday, in Rowlings Funeral Home, Musquodoboit Harbour. Funeral service 10 a.m. Monday, in St. Phillips Church, Musquodoboit Harbour, Rev. Ronald Pede officiating. Burial in St. Anne's Cemetery in DeBaies Cove. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and many friends. | |
